Tom Perkins
Choirmaster and Organist, St Peter's Church.
Tom is a student at the Royal Welsh College of Music, set to complete his course in 2017. Having started singing at the age of nine, he is now an accomplished Tenor singing in the Llandaff Cathedral and Caritas Choirs and is organist at St Mary's Parish Church, Whitchurch. He also enjoys playing Piano, Clarinet and Saxophone in his spare time.
Prior to starting his studies, Tom achieved a position as Organ Scholar for Arundel Cathedral where he developed his skills as a young organist as well as choral director taking rehearsals and conducting masses.
More recently he founded the Cardiff based Majestas Chamber Choir in September of 2014 to sing services in Llandaff Cathedral while the Cathedral Choir is on leave. He has also appeared on many CD's and recordings for the BBC and ITV.
